Please note: prices reflect estimated actual cost of biochar production, not carbon market prices for carbon sequestration.

The certificates are based on “Voluntary Carbon Market” norms and include a pre-purchase for production of a BioChar “Reserve” which will be used for soil enrichment and count for carbon sequestration thru VCM; duly verified and geotagged. In a phase 2, the certificates will furthermore progressively become valid payment for CO2 negative products/produce developed/grown within the network using biochar enriched soil (coffee, tea, cacau, sugar and it’s derivatives, etc.). The certificates include a 10% “discount” or ROI at time of purchase. It’s important to state that this is a pre-payment towards future production of BioChar. There will of course also be a disclaimer explaining that there is also a risk factor involved.
